Art activities, community meetings, anything really.
Do you have any skills or knowledge you would like to share?
I have a degree in creative expressive therapies so am confident running creative arts and drama workshops.

DOn't think there will be a meeting - but a social meetup for drinks or something would be lovely :) lets try to get something organised :)

Hi Amy, great to see you here!

I've got an idea you may be interested in - I'd really like to work with others on it and think I might've mentioned it at the meeting...

I live at the top of St Andrews Rd surrounded by garages covered in tagging. I'd love to start a scheme where residents can work with young artists (taggers/aspiring graffers/painters) to turn the garages of Montpelier into art 'canvases'. Young people could submit design ideas and residents could choose one they like, or older more experienced artists could mentor younger ones (am sure this already happens in some way) and display their progress on garages or other walls donated by owners. I'm sure Chris from PRSC would be willing to help with advice, ideas and contacts...

I invisage one massive street party (in a garage-intensive spot) in spring or summer where lots of the painting/spraying could get done all at once in a huge frenzy of colour and creativity, with music and food etc as well.

What do you think? I think it's really important to give young people more sense of ownership over the design of the community, without having boring tagging everywhere. Reckon this could be a good way to get them expressing themselves in a more exciting way?!
